Google Chrome - More Popular Than Internet Explorer

For the first time ever, Chrome averaged a higher traffic share than Internet Explorer (IE) worldwide. In North America, Explorer still has the lead by 37 to 26 percent. In Europe however, Firefox is ahead of both Chrome and Explorer. Firefox is also dominating in Africa. The real reason for the high Chrome traffic is due to South America. Nearly 50% of all internet users in South America are actively using Google Chrome. It is continuing to grow and become more popular.

Horse Rescued From Ocean

An Arabian horse was spotted two miles offshore the coast near Santa Barbara. The 6 year old horse was spooked by ocean waves crashing on the shore. It is valued at $150,000. Her owner said that instead of running from the waves, she swam two miles out to sea. The animal stayed floating despite its tail which was wrapped around one of its legs for almost 3 hours. A rescue crew managed to save it. The horse was exhausted and had water in its lungs, but is going to be fine.

Mother Arrested After Taking 5 Year Old Daughter Tanning

Patricia Krentcil, mother of a 5 year old little girl living in New Jersey denies all charges of bringing her daughter in to go tanning. The little girl showed up at school with a horrible sunburn and when asked about it, her teacher overheard her say that she went tanning with mommy. School officials alerted the police. Her mom denied the claims and blamed it on a sunburn from outside. The law prohibits children under 14 years of age to be allowed in the tanning booth. Patricia Krentcil admitted to letting her daughter in the room but still stands firm that she was never exposed to the actual tanning bed. After much questioning, police still believe that Patricia Krentcil's daughter did go tanning with her mother. She was released from jail but charged with felony child endangerment and a $25,000 bond.

Father Discovers His Autistic Son Is Being Taunted by Teachers

Stuart Chaifetz was taken back when he heard that his 10 year old son Akian was getting into trouble at school. His teacher claimed he was having violent outbursts and hitting his teacher in his classroom of other children with disabilities. Akian had never shown this type of behavior at home so his father was very shocked and skeptical. He decided to meet with Akian's teachers and brought in a behaviorist to examine his son's behavior. The behaviorist sat through many of his classes and witnessed none of what the teacher described. Chaifetz finally had enough and sent his son to school with a recorder attached to him in order to record audio throughout his school day. He was heartbroken and furious when he heard what was going on at school. His autistic son was being extremely bullied by not other kids his age, but by the teachers. They were yelling at him to shut up, calling him names, and having explicit adult conversation right in front of the kids. Chaifetz could not believe what he was hearing. "I want an apology, not for me, but so one day I can play this video back for my son and say Akian, you didn't deserve anything that happened to you. I'm not going to sue anybody. I'm not going to file a lawsuit. It's not about money. It's about dignity. This is to reclaim my son's dignity." He asks for a public apology and that they resign. The teachers have not yet been fired.
